When Something Needs an Answer
PASS Investigate is for the man who has encountered something that requires proper medical assessment.
This may include lower urinary tract symptoms, an elevated PSA, an abnormal digital rectal examination, an imaging finding, or another clinical concern.
• The purpose of this pathway is not to assume cancer.
• Urinary symptoms can have many causes.
• PSA can rise for several reasons.
• An abnormal finding is the beginning of a question—not automatically the answer.
PASS Investigate helps the individual understand the investigative process, organise information, prepare for consultations, ask informed questions, and remain appropriately connected to professional medical care while the cause is being established.
